Swapping At Bat for League Pass on my homescreen will be cathartic. Heh.

 

I took it as a response to the video of judge playing it on a speaker when walking by their locker room after game 2. Maybe reading too much into it then.

 

Oh no it was 100% this. I think it’s good natured ribbing but I’m also biased.

 

No he really sucks.

And CC was talking about more than just this game, and he’s right.

 

C.C.'s strike zone was pretty consistent from one graphic I saw. Def more favorable strikes than balls

But that was like a lifetime achievement diss. Worry about Houston Porcello, leave C.C. alone

 

Angel is probably the worst umpire in the league, CC is very correct.

Baseball fans argue about almost everything except one topic.

Angel Hernandez sucks.

Keep it classy, CC. Hope he gets a nice big fine for that comment.

If anything, the ball/strike calls favored the Yankees, but it wasn't egregious.

 

After Game 2 in Fenway, as Judge was walking to the team bus he went by the Red Sox clubhouse door blasting "New York, New York" on his boom box and it was caught on video by a reporter and posted on Twitter.

This was the Sox responding to that as they all said they saw the video of it. They said last night the team decided when they clinch the series they're going to blast it right back.

Personally I found the whole thing done by Judge to be strange. He seems like a really good guy and they was no reason why he should be trolling the Sox when the series was tied and there wasn't any bad blood in these games. I never like players giving the opposing team any bulletin board material.

 

Last night gave me about 17 heart attacks in that 9th inning. Yankees had a really good season and not looking forward to seeing them again in 2019 especially since they have money to spend this offseason and prospects around to make a big splash in the trading market.

Should be a really fun series between the Sox and Astros who were the two best teams in baseball this year. It should be a long series. Pulling for the Brewers in the NL.

 

we seem way too concerned with what's "classy" or "petty"....it's a sport rivalry, there's nothing damaging or vicious being done, the Sinatra was a call and response to what Judge did the other night, and nothing more. IMO, CC has every right to comment on Hernandez. Hernandez' calling is brutally bad and at times inexcusable. I also don't think there's anything wrong with Porcello firing back at CC either calling him out for bad pitches, because that's what a lot of his pitches were last night.

I can't think of a more controversial match-up in any sport.

 

No bad blood meaning there was nothing that happened in the first 2 games of the series. There weren’t any HBPs, brush backs, hard slides etc. If you took the names off of the front and back of the jersey you wouldn’t have known these two teams were huge rivals.

 

Still the Yankees and Red Sox. Always gonna be bad blood between them. And towards them. It's like the Cowboys vs. Patriots except both teams are good and they both hate each other.

No, they both suck.

Maybe the Yankees and Dodgers? I don't know. I live on the east coast and root for an AL East team so from where I'm at Yankees and Red Sox are the most hated teams.

Gotta strip the salary down so you can just take all the revenue without spending and giving it straight to GOP candidates

 

Really seems like all of Cora's managerial decisions paid off. Maybe should've left sale in but all of his lineup changes seemed to pay off completely

 

And not many stolen bases (because Mookie didn't get on base much) but the sox really killed em on the basepaths otherwise which I think is a Cora thing too. That's been really valuable
