Yeah thats a head scratcher for sure. We could have perhaps used Adams off the bench in our 13 inning loss tonight but overall I just have trouble seeing where he fits in with us if Peralta stays healthy now and with Matt Carpenter at first everday and young guys like Greg Garcia and Magneuris Sierra chomping at the bit for roster space. Plus Adams' stumbles in left field have been of nightmarish proportion.

It's a good deal for Atlanta. They get a good enough replacement first baseman for 2 months or so. And he can either become a bat off the bench once Freddie returns or Braves can try to move him to another club.
