Danny Valencia is a waste of space

 

That Angels/Mariners bench clearing was pretty intense. I like how the bullpens didn't even make it to the infield.

 

I always thought it was funny how the bullpens clear out during these scuffles. They run all the way out there just to be told to go back lol

 

I know I've heard what they were saying at least once before.

 

What are the attendance numbers looking like at Suntrust Park? I feel like there is nobody at these games just like at Turner Field.

When he was playing, I never would have guessed Chipper Jones would be so good in the booth and give a good interview post playing career. He's great, man. Love listening to him talk and hearing his stories. He's very sincere and candid.

 

I just want to inform you all that I'm still going to the batting cages every week.

I've been staying mostly on the 60 mph and I'm getting contact most pitches but most of the time I get grounders.

Last time I went I couldn't hit anything over 40. Embarrassing. I was also weaker than I am now, so maybe I can actually get around on a 50 one of these days.

 

Stupid Mariners not making sense

 

Glad to get Gary Sanchez back tomorrow. Should be a fun series.

 

I started around 40 mph and started to move up from there. I went back to 40 mph today for fun and it felt so slow that I was missing some easy ones.

I also tried 70 mph today and I was straight up missing everything. I got all happy because I made contact on like 1 of the 15 pitches.

 

Suntrust Park, I will be in you on the 20th.

 

Don't blame you. Haha. Other than the couple times I've gone to the cages, the last time I saw actual pitching was the 3rd grade. And I took a fastball to the face halfway through the season. It's possible I just wasn't meant to play baseball.

 

Mike Trout is in the midst of a 16 game hitting streak, the longest of his career, and I am confident he will break Joe DiMaggio's record.

 

I hate the goddamn run on contact from 3rd play, it is the shittiest play in the history of the game.

I mean if the pitcher was next but to just blindly say ball is hit, you run? At least with the Yankees over the years it always looks terrible. Idk about the numbers overall but I'm sick of it haha.

 

Braves pitching is absolute trash. Bullpen in particular is beyond useless. And only 2/5 of the guys in their rotation would actually be allowed to be part of any other rotation. It's a shame bc the offense has looked pretty good. Freddie is as good a hitter there is and MVP caliber. Everyone in the lineup not named Adonis or Dansby has been contributing.

 

Wow damn mets. Nice win. Thank you Mattingly for keeping Ziegler in the game so long :)
