I have Anthony Rendon in one of my fantasy leagues...but had him benched today with Eugenio Suarez and Miguel Sano at the two-3B eligible spots in the lineup. You gotta just fucking laugh at these things sometimes.

Sano had a good day though, 3/5 with 5 RBIs and a HR!

 

Ya... rendone is more like it, he's young but he never turned out the way people hoped

 

Yea today was a total anomaly, he's been pretty meh most of the season which is why I snagged Suarez off of waivers last week

 

He's been crushing it when he plays, tho. What were they expecting?

 

He's been like that since last year honestly, he's pretty much regressed somehow. Even in dynasty his value is plummeting. I wish I picked up Suarez late last year, meh.

 

He has been off to a slow start, but he was really good last year. I don't understand.

Bear in mind my evaluation is based solely off of this year. Didn't follow him last year really.

 

Last year he finished okay but you also have to understand how big of a deal he was, people thought he would be a top 5 guy at his position and he wasn't close. He's still young but it doesn't look like it's getting better at all.

 

Yea, I am talking about his career, not these past 20 games. Julian said he was playing similarly last year.

 

He put up 4.7 WAR last year. That's good.

 

Whatever. Most interesting part of today's Nats-Mets game to me is that I'm now wondering at what point Chicago is no longer the team to beat in the NL. It's still super early for sure, but Washington looks to be the real deal.

 

Interesting Nats team stats...besides being #1 in all major batting categories, they are #9 in WHIP as a team and #1 in quality starts.

 

No, he was clearly better last year but that was as a whole. Its a long season and I don't play in a geek fantasy league with war in it so it doesn't help there, maybe one day Lol

 

I picked the nats to go to the finals but lose, mostly because I feel like they would choke

 

I had the Mets winning the East and the Nats not even getting a WC spot ahaha

 

Still rooting hard for an O's-Nats series if St. Louis shits the bed tho

 

That's a huge mistake haha oh well I mean I guess if the Mets can get out of the hospital soon maybe they have a shot
