Yea, I am happy for Zobrist, too. He truly is one of the most underrated players in baseball. Well, maybe not so much now cuz of the whole two WS in a row thing, though.

I loved the Price trade, but I am biased lol. He was so great for us. I wish Smyly performed better for you guys. He has the potential to be a solid 3-4 guy. But flipping him for Mallex Smith may turn out pretty well.

 

So Motter has hit two balls today that would be home runs, if he was playing just about anywhere else besides Comerica.

I had no idea Saltalamacchia was with Toronto now huh

 

I was really high on him when he came late on the year in exchange for Price, but he could ever recapture that success. Mallex basically had a wow factor performance for us before landing on the 10 day DL a while ago. Rays have been struck by the injury bug early on for the last couple seasons now.

 

Another head scratcher for me. He was an absolute hole in the lineup for the Rays last year.

Yea, people were saying he failed in the US and that's why he went to Korea, but his numbers really don't scream failure to me. More like the US gave up on a prospect and got burned.

So Felix is going to be evaluated in Seattle for "dead arm" tightness he experienced tonight. That's not good.

The record for homers in April is 14 by Pujols and A-Rod. Most in any month is 20 by Sosa in June of 1998
