Angels are letting the Blue Jays double their win season for the total this series.... Not sure if I should laugh or cry. Poor Trout.

He's not perfect (who is) but he's had some old-ass and injured rosters to work with. All anybody needs to do is look up their 2013 opening day lineup and say wait, that team finished over .500 that year? Haha. I think last three years they won more games than statistics would suggest they should have. It's not like he's ever lost the clubhouse or anything. He can stay as long as he likes as far as I'm concerned.

 

Yea they're fans are definitely dumb but they also realized that they were old and overpaid and demanded a new baby yanks team lol

 

Yeah I know a lot that are happy with this direction and still not expecting too much right away and that's fine. There will still be slumps, injuries, rookie struggles but I haven't felt optimism like this in such a long time haha. Been fun so far. Still feels like they can make some noise this year especially when they get Didi and Gary back.

 

I think they said on the Braves broadcast last night that Matt Kemp and Freddie Freeman have combined for 10 homers, but only produced 14 RBIs as a result. Freddie is 7 for 9. Swanson batting like .120 isn't helping. Garcia in the top of the line-up makes zero sense.

I'm not even sure the Braves will win six straight this season.

Also, why is Jim Johnson still closing games? Still think Vizcaino should close.

 

Jean Segura returning this week. Should be a big addition to the lineup. Motter has been playing great in his spot so hopefully they plug him in somewhere else. No way he sees the bench imo

 

Almost forgot Segura existed since Motter has been killing it. Hopefully they send Valencia somewhere/trade him instead of benching Motter

 

I've read he should be seeing time at LF and/or 1B.

 

It's becoming pretty clear that the Giants didn't do enough this past winter. And the whole Madbum injury is the last thing they needed. Might be a rough year unless they can light a fire under these guys.

 

Matt Barnes got 4 games for throwing at Manny Machado's head. What an idiot. Even Pedroia was pissed. This part of baseball culture sucks and needs to go.

Keuchel-Tomlin matchup is nice from a duration standpoint. Game started at 6 and is already in the top of the 5th.

Once Seager returns the top 6 batters will be so fun. Shouldn't have any trouble putting up runs. The pitching has been shakey this year though.
