Damn. I wish I was in the area. I'm supposed to be moving there later this year though so hopefully by next year I can start going to more games. Can't imagine that Montero makes it much longer with the Mets...the bullpen has been so bad lately

The Cards really need to fix their bullpen problem right now while the season is young, that includes downgrading Wanio. It's just time.

Yeah, him especially. That and Reyes still being in the line-up everyday is just baffling

I love the dude to death and he's been a solid arm but the writing's on the wall. Then again, it's early and maybe he can bounce back.

 

After a number of seasons, I've finally jumped on the anti-Matheny bandwagon speaking of the Cards. The guy clearly doesn't know how to cope with a decrease in team quality and that's really hurting the team.

 

I don't like my manager either. It seems like he makes dumb moves all the time. However, the affect of managers on W/L records are next to nothing. I feel like its just something easy to complain about for the fanbases and gets way overblown. I practically hear everyday that the Tigers should fire Ausmus.

 

I still want to give Reyes the benefit of the doubt because he was good during the WBC and he's been in the league for too long...but with his average plus the error last night, it's getting to be too much

 

Ichiro hit his first HR of the season in the top of the 9th (game was already out of reach) at Safeco. The crowd went crazy and so did the radio announcer. Never seen so much enthusiasm for an opposing player, was really cool.

 

This went from being a fun game to being a "what the fuck are you doing, Rays?!" kind of game.

 

Still trying to tank and gtfo of st.pete can be the answer to all that every time lol

CB Bucknor is incredible.

So far, I'm pretty happy that we dumped our farm for Chris Sale.

 

Surprised Farrell took him out there. 102 is not crazy for Sale.
