God I'm going to have to block so many idiots on FB to stay sane this season. The trolling/idiocy is off to a strong start

Well that inning could have ended a hell of a lot worse than it did!

Agreed. Going to be hard to come back against Arietta though. Best option now is some tough at bats to get his pitch count high

The Cubs being good works well for TV viewing. First 3 games of Cardinals season on TV here.

FamIlia was a dumb pick. Everyone knew he was getting suspended for Months.

What a great day for Tigers baseball.

Good to see the bullpen holding up so far tonight. I want to see Davis close it out.

Not sure if this was said the other day, but is it weird to have the MLB champs open on the road?

Schedule is made and released before the playoffs even start, so not weird at all.

Cody Allen has - and will - always make me nervous as our closer. He gets the job done, but never without drama.

  18. Actually quite often without drama. In fact usually without drama.

Joe Borowski was the worst for Indians drama-filled saves.

I think Terry Francona using him as the closer is great, though. Frees up Andrew Miller, the better pitcher, to pitch in the high leverage situations.

It's definitely a great luxury to have two effective pitchers like that in the back end of the pen. No doubt about it.

Part of me misses seeing Rajai in a Tigers uniform.

Matheny said they don't think it's a concussion but that's probably just the company line until a doctor says otherwise. Piscotty's my favorite of our young guys, he's just a brilliant dude all-around. Hope he's fine.

We sign a guy to a $34 million contract and 24 hrs later he gets hit in the temple by a ball...the baseball gods don't seem to be looking out.
