That makes no sense unless it was his decision.

 

It was his decision, he was thinking about retirement years ago. He would rather spend time with his family than manage them which is fine, you'd rather have him not half ass it.

 

Okay, that makes a lot more sense. My friend was telling me they fired him and I was blown away. Got a lot out of those baby boomers.

 

Nooooo lol he was mulling leaving at the end of his deal for awhile. It's gonna be real hard to replace him, whoever replaces him is gonna be a cashman guy for sure.

 

Now I'm seeing "the Yankees have decided not to bring me back", this is super weird. My guess is that they don't think he's fully in it and did him a favor. I don't think it's as forward as it sounds.

Clearly they just didn't like Girardi cause this is shocking

 

I wonder if Hal is slowly turning into his father and trying to come out of this like it was his decision rather than girardi just deciding to leave his team behind. That would be pretty bad but richies gon rich.
