Everyone seems to think so, not me

 

folks are too quick with the hot takes during the postseason

 

this isn’t a hot take

but granderson just needs to be done for the post season

ok maybe it is

 

i feel like that's a very reasonable take

Well it looks like the dodgers aren’t coming back.

 

Alex Wood hasn’t pitched in like 2 weeks at least so yeah this is going exactly how I expected it to go.

 

If I'm being totally honest, I'd like to win this game

Especially if it's Jake Arrieta's last game as a Cub

im always the first one to yell at drewisms... but if the yankees dont move on i will be absolutely shocked. SHOCKED. The momentum behind this team is unreal right now.

 

momentum is overrated

 

Maybe, but inertia is not. Right now, Houston hasn’t done enough to oppose NYs steady forward motion over these last three games. They can no longer afford to simply slow down NYs progress, but must find a way to impede progress altogether. They need to find a way to unplug the air hockey table that NY is cruising around on. Maybe a final home series can be their savior here. Does this metaphor make sense?

 

I suppose the sides of the air hockey table may slightly ruin my metaphor, since they keep the NY puck from falling off the table, and, in fact, redirect it. So, we must instead think of these two teams as being unbalanced forces. Right now, NY is providing more force and is overwhelming the Astros. The Astros must hope to balance their force and then summon the energy to exert more force to have a chance to survive.

 

And we know that energy does not come from nothing. The Astros need to spend some time in the sun and eat healthy, hearty meals so they can produce ATP that their bodies can use to win.

 

Arrieta is so fun to watch when he has wiffle ball movement

also Roberts played Granderson because matchups and he went 0-3 so that should remind him that he just sucks now.

 

SO SO BAD

 

Yea, Granderson has sucked since landing in LA, but he could turn it around. He hasn't ever played this poorly.

 

Justin Turner is a monster.

 

Maddon needs to chill and just let Granderson strike out.
