See maybe in the nba and nfl and nhl you can convince me tondo 1-12... But I like that the al and nl have different rules and such. And I like the focus on the division play and division rivalry and how certain games have more weight.

There's league pride too.

 

i miss the NL Central but i prefer the DH over watching a guy like Lance McCullers try to hit or some shit

 

Jayson Werth hitting 2nd is criminal, as is Rendon hitting 6th.

I understand from looking at b-r that Rendon mostly hit 6th throughout the year, which is truly baffling.

 

may as well have a pitcher hit when your DH is Chris Carter though

 

I wish there wasn’t interleague play.

Please make your pitchers bat for one series and squeeze your amazing hitters into uncomfortable defensive positions

Or first base

I'm fine with dh, the old timey perspective is annoying. Those people probably watch whole games and pay to attention ball boy assignments

i also think having a dh can help develop prospects faster with that extra spot, ya I know they aren't always playing the field but you can switch stuff around for them on and off. I wouldn't be surprised if andujar ends up taking holidays spot next year and if they don't trade headley than hell play there on his days off and alternate.

 

I just find it silly that people argue for a position to hit, when they have been batting .130 for the past ten years. And the "strategy" people claim exists is laughable, too.

I just want to be entertained. Watching someone struggle at the plate, and taking a pitcher out thats dueling for a pinch hit, is not entertaining.

 

I am so HYPE for tonight, let's go Cubs.
