Half of my family currently resides in Willoughby. I'm an Eastlake man myself

 

Kipnis in CF is not a worry. It's more ideal he's on the corner, but the Indians converted him to full-time 2B. In high school and college, he was mostly a CF/LF, with some appearances at 2B. The question was slightly his speed in CF, but I think we can survive some games with him there.

 

LINDOR!

 

Would have been nice to add to the lead with bases loaded there.

This game should already be blown open. We're leaving too many ducks on the pond. Luckily Lindor got us the lead and Kluber is doing Klubot things.

 

Someone needs to find run support stats and confirm that Kyle Gibson is leading that category. At least for the last 2 months.

I THOUGHT IT WAS FAKE BECAUSE THE GOOD TEAM NEVER WON.

 

What a game. Great crowd for a Tuesday game and everyone was psyched for the big win. I sold my tickets for tomorrow, but still have Thursday and Friday tickets. Either way, I was glad to see Kluber killing it to tie the AL record.

i think most of the regular season awards are kinda locked (for the most part) with Kluber and Scherzer being the CY young and Altuve winning the AL MVP...

the one tight race is NL MVP. I'd personally give it to Goldschmidt.

It'll be interesting to see how many people are there today. Darren Rovell kind of blasted Cleveland last night saying how there weren't enough people there last night to tie the record (I think it was 24K), and typically, day games don't do well in Cleveland.

 

I thought the crowd could have been bigger considering the team's success and the streak. But as much as Cleveland likes the Indians and has great tv ratings, the fans just don't want to come out to the park. For a while we could blame it on the product, but it gets hard to now. Our attendance wasn't good last year compared to the team success.

 

It'll be close to a sell out. There's only upper deck tickets available. People are getting a bit ridiculous with it on StubHub, but I sold my good, lower reserved outfield seats for $80/piece.

 

Oh, wow. Didn't realize that. I hope it sells out.

 

I was hoping to time things up to get to a game by the end of this week once the magic number gets to 2 or 1 to hopefully see them clinch, but that'd likely occur on the weekend now and not many good seats left at all.

 

I don't think today will sell out but I think it'll come close, which is pretty impressive for a weekday day game.
