Matthew Boyd vs Kluber tonight for the opportunity to tie the Athletics record. Gotta feel good about their chances tonight.

Ever since LeBron came back in 2014, living in this city has been bonkers. I mean, I've always loved my hometown, but there's just a special aroma around the city these past 2-3 years with all the winning (sans the Browns) and great new additions/renovations to downtown (casino, East Bank of the Flats, E. 4th Street). Such a great time to be a Clevelander and great to see downtown packed all the time.

Good thing I've been able to convince my fiancé to move there from her home in the south after our wedding. Even though I've been in Nashville for 8 years almost, it's never felt like 'Home'. Cleveland does.

Have you been back in the past 8 years? I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't even recognize downtown. It's seriously so much nicer everything from the Flats all the way to East 9th street. Everything between that has been updated/renovated + dozens upon dozens of restaurants and bars.

My wife and I did a 'staycation' two years ago in the East Bank of the Flats, we got a hotel room for the weekend and just stayed downtown and it felt like we were in another city. It's crazy how different it is compared to 5-6 years ago.

I have been. I come back 1-3 times a year since 99% of my family still lives in Cleveland. So I have gotten to see the casino and some of the renovations around town. It is different and the same at the same time.

Next time your home, visit the East Bank...it went from nothing there to a whole lot of bars, restaurants and a few hotels within the past 2 years.

I will be at the game tonight. Absolute luck because Kluber was originally slated to pitch tomorrow. I'm a 20-game season ticket holder and this is the first time I get to see him this year.

I have really been liking Chicago, but I could see myself going back to Cleveland if I start a family or want to own a house. There are things I really miss about Cleveland, but there are some things I don't miss. It's a give and take. But with Cleveland investing so much into medical tech and the hospitals, the city is only going to continue to grow. You see that reflected in a lot of home prices right now. It's obviously still a lot cheaper than a Chicago, but it's more expensive than a lot of other cities now.

we are nothing more than mannequins Prestigious

My wife and I just went to Margaritaville a few weekends ago. It's definitely a lot different (and nicer) than it was!

I worked in an office on West 3rd from 2007-2015 and was downtown everyday (I'm in Akron now) and it seems like every time I'm downtown now something has changed.

I'll be in Cleveland twice in the next few days though! Tribe game tomorrow afternoon and QOTSA/Royal Blood on Friday.

We went to Margaritaville a few week ago. On a Tuesday night. It was JAMMED.

Unfortunately, not much has improved near The Agora, haha. I was just there on Saturday night.

We met up with my in-laws at Margaritaville on a Saturday in the early afternoon and it wasn't too bad of a wait.

I honestly don't remember the last time I was at The Agora. It's been a long time!! Is there just parking on site or what? Oh, and how was Nas?

I think Akron and the surrounding areas will be the next boom because of the taxes in Summit vs Cuyahoga counties. You really have to go out kind of deep on the west or east now. Even Lorain county with Avon and some of Geauga counties are pretty pricy at this point.

I usually do free parking on 46th. Given that it's QOTSA you may need to get there early, but that's usually my move.

Nas was great! He's my favorite rapper of all-time and it was my first opportunity to ever see him. It was a surreal experience for me. There is parking in the back of Agora, but by the time I got to the Nas show (9 p.m.) on Saturday, the parking was filled up and it was honestly a nightmare trying to find parking. You can park on the street, but all street parking was filled by then too. I ended up parking about a block away at some business, which was certainly illegal (private parking), but a bunch of others were doing it too and it turned out fine.

I remember going to the Agora a lot while in high school and college (Jimmy Eat World, NFG, The Used, Taking Back Sunday all in the early to mid 2000s) and loved it. It was/is my favorite venue in Cleveland. The last few times I was there though were just for shows in the ballroom, so there were not that many people there so parking was much easier. I think this was my first theater show in like 10 years.

EDIT: What sucks though is, there's really nothing in that area to do before or after the show (within 5-10 minute walking distance) and it's not the safest area.
