I can’t tell which, but it sounds like his issue is with one of two things.

Option A: he’s mad that he didn’t call them the Tampa “Bay” Rays, their given name.

My guess is it’s more likely...

Option B: The Rays are actually located in St Petersburg, a city close to, but not part of Tampa. However is still resides in the larger “bay” area.

There is a large collection of fans that hate that the stadium is in St. Petersburg because it is harder to access for some fans (like anyone coming from Lakeland or Orlando) and there are fewer options for efficient public transportation to and from St. Petersburg.

Either way, the guy needs to take a nap and let it go.

The Rays can hardly put all facets of the game together at the same time anymore. There’s always one group that’s fucking up now, more often than not.

Gary had like 14 in 89 games last year. So with none of the offense I can appreciate how infuriating he probably is.

Gary has improved so much behind the plate this year though
