I would not like Bauer if he wasn't on the Indians. However, I do respect that he is willing to be himself and put his thoughts out in the open, even if I disagree.

I have a feeling people don't like Bauer because he struggles at times. If his game backed up his mouth more often, people would really like him.

  4. I found his act mostly amusing before all the MAGA bullshit. Now I just try to ignore the part he plays in my team's success.

I've always said that Trevor Bauer is a must watch post game interview. You really never know what to expect from him and he can go off the rails at any moment. I'm always entertained by him.

I also think that if Bauer can get it all together, he can be one of the game's best pitchers. He's quietly tied for most wins in the AL this year. He can still be stubborn and a bit of a headcase but if he can put away a lot of the distractions and focus 100% on pitching, he can really be lethal and shows glimpses of it often.

I like to think the same about my own chances for being one of MLB's best pitchers.

Also, he plays for Cleveland. Of course he's going to be up there for wins lol

I suppose if you have a 98 MPH fastball with a filthy breaking ball and stay away from drones, you'll be golden.

Gohara is making his ML debut for Atlanta tonight. Blows my mind that he started in A ball, and has gone up each level with great success.

Don't most (/all) guys start in A ball?

I'm guessing he meant moved up those levels this season.

Think they meant moving up three levels to the majors in one season.

Didn't realize he was in Class A earlier this season...hasn't he been in the minors for 3 or 4 years now?

He was when he was in the Mariners organization. Goes to show how the Braves like to challenge their minor leaguers when they have success at a level.

  23. Supposedly Gohara had some big work ethic issues in the M's organization. He was getting results but wasn't "coachable" enough to move up. At least those are the rumors I had heard.
