On what planet is betances trying to hit someone tie game... in the 7th for s team trying to make the playoffs

This game is hilarious

 

Throwing at someone's head is so shitty, fuck that. I don't care if a fight was starting earlier. Throwing 90 MPH at a guy's head is ridiculous.

 

If you think Betances intentionally threw 99 at a guy's head you're insane.

 

After everything that happened? I genuinely think he was trying to hit him intentionally, maybe not his head, but still. The whole idea of "retaliation" in baseball is idiotic

 

They lost their DH, so they're going to burn through pitchers even faster. He wasn't trying to hit him PERIOD and get thrown out. Read a situation. He has 33 walks in 47 innings. His command gets very wild at times.

 

If Betances had tried to hit him, it would've been a strike. No way was he throwing at McCann.

 

Intentional or not if you hit a guy square on the head after warnings and hit batters and balls behind batters and brawls, you'll get ejected.

 

Nobody's disputing that. I just can't believe there's even one person that thinks Dellin would throw his fastball at somebody in a tie game on the road with the DH spot gone lol.

 

How does anybody even pitch inside the rest of this game lol

Tigers have acted like complete assholes this whole game. It's time to clean house roster wise, and get Ausmus out.

This all could've been diffused with a warning on the Sanchez HBP to start. For that matter Cabrera made a big deal about protecting players once, so him starting this whole thing really stunk cause that's all Kahnle did.

 

If there's already been one brawl, and you hit someone in the head, absolutely there's gonna be another brawl. I don't think there should be a third brawl, but the Tigers decided to hit someone else as well. Can't wait for this team to be dismantled.

 

Jesus, the Yankees are so fucked at catcher this weekend. Romine didn't start it but he and Sanchez both punched Cabrera. Their only other guy with ML experience is Higashioka in AAA and is on the DL. I guess staggering one by appealing but damn
