FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

The Yankees can't have won the trade deadline especially when in hindsight they should've let the Sox get Todd Frazier, and instead now Devers is gonna clinch the east for them lol

They should've just asked for Robertson TBH and I think they would've budged for less if they waited longer because they don't like paying him much. I also think they overpaid a bit for gray but I have no idea what the other offers are or who they were from.

They may have overpaid. Hard to say yet cause I really like Severino, Gray and Montgomery to start the rotation. If Tanaka opts you think they try for Darvish? I don't understand international money fully but from what I gather Otani isn't an option if he comes over.

The reports on otani are pretty spectacular, he's going to cost a lottt but he's young and probably worth it. I'm not sure if he comes before 2019 but it would be a worthwhile investment if they took that chance. I don't know why, unless darvish is awful that he doesn't stay with LA where he supposedly wanted to go and he'll likely make a lot. If gray is not at least decent for the reason of the season, it'll suck.

bye bye Bruce. Thank god. Talk about a bat that could totally help a contending team.

Plugging Bruce at RF for the indians is solid

If Rally Kitty is half as effective as Rally Squirrel, Cardinals are in luck!

Got him for absolutely nothing. haha...

He'll be nice to plug in at RF. Though, he honestly might be a bench bat or rotated around when Chisenhall gets back. Damn do I dread this if they're playing National league style with Encarnacion, Santana and Bruce and Chisenhall to factor in somehow too.

From what I heard the new CBA has screwed guys like him because now IFA contracts are capped unless they are over 25.

I mean, Bruce is 9th in the majors in homeruns and is now the Indians leading HR and RBI man...I think he's going to be an everyday player regardless of who else is healthy.

I love the move because we literally did get him for nothing. This was a clear salary dump for the Mets as the Indians have to pay the remaining $5 million on his contract.

What worries me is that I'm guessing Indians must think Brantley's injury is much more serious than they are letting on (or Chisenhall's). But assuming everyone is healthy down the road, I'm guessing starting outfield will be Lonnie, Brantley and Bruce. No true center fielder anymore, although Brantley is more than capable of playing there.

Yeah this was my understanding too, but then I see write-ups talking about how he'd get crazy money so I'm still not clear lol

The Wild Card race in the AL is so stacked. Happy to see the Mariners in the second spot right now. I'd like to see them finally pull out a playoff appearance this year. They've been so close the past few years

I'm from San Diego, but I live in Seattle. I was bored and it was the NFL offseason and Mariners fans are pretty miserable. I can relate as a Bengals fan, so I fit right in. Plus they're nowhere near as obnoxious as Seahawks fans.

But yeah it wasn't really a bandwagon. More like a rickshaw being pulled by a drunk donkey
