Game might get rained out today, it’s supposed to rain literally all day smh

 

Damn, and it’s the last game of the season series. Wouldn’t be great to have to work in a makeup road trip game in the second half of the season.

 

Local twins geek on sports radio says they will try and wait it out since it is a 1:10 start time, hopefully it stops raining for a bit because I rather play than try and make it off on a off day, we don’t have many left

 

I kinda forgot about Kimbrel, how was Keuchel game ready before him

i'd love to know what the average time is for a player to get ready. how long do they take off after the season? when do they really start hitting/throwing? are there players that do fuck all until mid february when they report to camp?

Like I do know Boras said Keuchel was on a regular schedule throwing full simulated games. And obviously had no teams to restrict what they could do, maybe Keuchel was just more prepared

I would like to know how long players take off from baseball activities once the season ends. Maybe there's some who don't take a break at all. Would def be interesting to know

 

It’s hard to imagine Mike Trout doing nothing for 2 months but I bet he does a lot of golf or hunting to keep busy

 

I know a lot of players from other countries go play in their home leagues pretty much as soon as the MLB season ends, especially PR/DR and Venezuela.

 

Stanton will be lucky to get 50 games in this year ugh

 

Just hypothesizing, but could a SP get ready quicker because they see more batters in fewer starts? Not sure if the number of PAs is the main goal for "spring training," but just a thought I had.

I still think we are going to be just fine if we can make a few trades. With the addition of a closer and another starter - we would have one of the best rounded line-ups in baseball.
