Well, I was gonna go to sleep but I had to hear the reaction haha I picked the worst day to be super busy

 

So are the yankees out of "tradable" prospects yet. Like not their a chips... b chips

 

They're gonna end up keeping him and trading him in the winter, I feel like

 

Yep, I'd say so. They have other guys I like though, I just think out of the top group... they're done.

 

Thing that sucks is if Kaprielian hadn't gotten hurt again maybe he's here right now and they didn't even need this trade. Daaaammit. Really did like him

 

Yeah, absolutely. I think this is probably the last major injury for him too. Though, the way the As handle players... I'm not sure. I hope he does well though. Hopefully Acevedo keeps turning it up. At least they drafted like 5 pitchers in the first 8 rounds this draft lol

 

Estevan Florial and Domingo Acevedo are some others that got thrown around but I think they're done trading. They get Bird back healthy and they're in pretty good shape outside of two potentially open starting spots next season.

 

Adams and Acevedo will be up next season, I think Acevedo has to if the timing I'm thinking is correct. They've been super cautious with him but I think the time either in the roster expansion or spring training next year.

 

Pirates better be looking at lots of deals for him

 

Yeah. And the Yankees got better this year and still have those two along with Sheffield, Torres, Frazier, Andujar, Florial. Florial's farther away obviously but I'm glad they kept him.

 

I totally forgot about Sheffield, probably because his upside isn't as high but I think he's further away than the former two.

 

Oh yeah definitely. Domingo German looked like he had potential in what little we saw too. I forgot about him

I forgot he existed lol also forgot they got abreu and Guzman last year.

 

I feel like you just had to know it was only a matter of time before Mateo got traded out of NY. Kaprielian has such a high ceiling, but I remember literally reading that he cannot stay healthy, and then he ended up out for the year. Overall, the A's got a pretty good haul, and I think both teams will end up happy.

 

It's funny seeing on espn dodgers traded for Watson according to fanrag sports.

Yeah Mateo was always going to go somewhere. He couldn't get out of single A then finally got to AA and it clicked finally, the Yankees got lucky that he became a better trade chip

 

Tigers just can't make more deals

 

Mateo is gonna steal 100 bases for the As

 

I'm going to assume Lance Lynn is staying put

 

going to be legit sad if the only move was for Liriano

the pitching will not be good enough in the playoffs if Keuchel and McCullers struggle
