It's still selling low on him when he's finally getting his act together again but I mean... Todd Frazier hitting .218 is a big deal for Brian cashman

White Sox have runners at 1st and 3rd with 1 out and they decide to bunt.

That bunt ends up being super bad and it floats straight up into the air for an easy out. Kershaw ends up getting out of the inning with no earned runs.

I laughed at that decision.

 

Such is life playing the White Sox is 2017. Enjoy it. I will too.

 

for some reason the mics are lined up so you can hear the fans clearly at white sox stadium.

A fan just shouted "HEY COREY I FOLLOW YOUR GIRLFRIEND ON INSTAGRAM"

and the commentators got a chuckle out of that.

 

The yanks BETTER be at the very least...giving up Rutherford in this deal.

The games at Fenway on the Yankees network were like that. So it was just clear "Yankees suck" nonstop the whole game. You'd think someone would go maybe we should shut that mic off

The Yankees' trade is official. I'm sad. I really liked Rutherford and don't think this move is right for them.

 

Yeah idk. I liked Rutherford too. But they do also have a lot of outfield prospects plus Wade and Mateo technically. They have a legitimate postseason bullpen now but not sure that is important yet lol. Frazier helps that 1B hole and I like Severino and Montgomery, I think Tanaka is mostly right now and I guess Sabathia is dependable. Cessa is garbage. Maybe Mitchell needs to click. Maybe Chance Adams would need to come up and pull a Severino like 2015. I guess it does hurt the Sox and maybe things are more interesting now. We shall see.

Either cashman is a complete moron or Rutherford will never be that good and he's selling high like the rangers did last year when they knew tate wasn't good after wasting a really high pick on him. I mean hell, look what the Nats got for two relatively under the radar prospects. That would've been a way better and cheaper deal for the Yankees.

They gave up way too much for Robertsons deal, Frazier who only plays half a season and is an fa and a pitcher who's erratic as hell and suddenly having a good year. It's not like Frazier was lighting the world on fire and they're suddenly sold he's an all star, he was hitting .180 in triple A this year and he's only played a few games in the majors. Aaron hicks was pretty good but hasn't played the whole season either.

One of the games there was a guy for a good inning drunkenly shouting "Let's go Boston" non-stop. It was excruciating. I believe it was the extra inning game, the inning the Yankees won in.
