Yankees are gonna have like three major prospects up next season, who cares about this one

 

I'm all about the future lol. I'd be ready to fast forward to next year but I'm excited to watch Frazier get comfortable. I hope they find a way to keep him up all year.

 

I find this position they're in so uncomfortable. I want them to be really bad so they can dump players who have no future with the club (Kemp, Markakis, Phillips, Garcia, etc...) and just continue to stockpile more talent (which they can use to trade for good proven players). But seeing them not totally out of it and exceeding their expectations this season makes for a far more exciting team to watch every night. It sucks. I want them to be a team capable of winning their division (which they won't do this season) or a team really fucking terrible (which they aren't) to where the veterans could easily be unloaded without much thought.

 

I think I might go and catch the Dodgers versus the Brewers next month.

That seems like a good series.

I'm just having fun watching this team, honestly. Something I haven't been able to say for a few years. Ideally I'd like to see them unload Garcia and Markakis, call up Acuña and Sims, and sneak into a wild card spot. What I absolutely do not want to see is them try to flip Albies or Acuña for Sonny Gray. Hell nah…

I have a friend who legitimately thinks that if the Giants were to trade for Stanton, they'd be a contender.

he also thinks the dodgers are rigging the MLB so I want whatever he is drinking/smoking.

That sucks. Aside from being a Yankees fan I always follow Correa and Harper. He tore it just with that swing or had it already been damaged?

 

Yeah I couldn't really tell how it was injured, commentators kept calling it a jammed thumb

 

Sounds like he will be back in September so think of it as a large rest for the postseason

 

Tigers trade JD Martinez to the Diamondbacks for nothing holllllllla

I guess if the market wasn't particularly deep and we weren't hanging onto JD anyway, why not make this move, but still doesn't feel great.
