I think a defensive staff can do more with Ed Oliver than any prospect in this class other than Nick Bosa.

 

I just feel like he’s been undervalued all draft season so I’m glad you took him where he’s worth

 

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers also go BPA and draft Devin White, LB, LSU

The best inside linebacker prospect in a long time. White is the real deal and can do pretty much anything, making him the perfect person to take the reins of Bruce Arian's defense, which is starved for talent.

I just think it's hilarious that so many wrote him off after the whole jacket incident with Major Applewhite.

Houston wouldn't have been able to afford those jackets if Ed Oliver didn't commit to them. He completely changed that program around for Tom Herman. That commitment put them on the map.

Oh I mean obviously the Jaguars pick Jawaan Taylor, OT, University of Florida

Taylor’s tape is easy to take for granted because he makes everything look easy. He just controls the strong side of the line. At 330 pounds, he makes moves in space that would be laborious for most linemen. He packs an enormous punch and his hand placement is ideal. I see nothing wrong with plugging in a 3 year stud RT who can lead a power scheme all day. We cut Jermey Parnell and Taylor is an immediate upgrade.

Worst case scenario Cam Robinson is lost due to his ACL tear and Taylor fills a cant-miss need at left tackle. We cannot go another year cycling through backup tackles.

He’ll keep pressure out of Foles’ passing lanes, and make it hard to stop Fournette on power outside runs... which in turn will force them to commit more defenders and become vulnerable to play action & back side counters. For a power rushing team with an immobile, quick passing quarterback, a right tackle can be just as important as a left tackle (proven by Lane Johnson’s role with Foles in Philadelphia.)
