Houston Texans select Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama



Jacobs being available here is an absolute steal. Texans jump ahead of the RB-needy Eagles to ensure they get their franchise RB. Jacobs is the complete package and would be a nice fit with Watson. Adding two guys like Fant and Jacobs would make the Texans must-watch TV.

 

Texans backed out of that trade over a 5th rounder because we already don't have a 4th rounder. I didn't want to go two round without a pick.

Houston Texans select Jaylon Ferguson, EDGE, LA Tech

Ferguson isn’t necessarily a perfect fit in the Texans 3-4 but he’s a very skilled pass rusher and his athleticism should be enough for him to find an impactful role. Trading Clowney is a tough but financial responsible decision and Ferguson late in the second round is tremendous value to replace him.

I dunno that I'd say that I've outgrown the community. I spend a shitload of time here during the season but when the Madden league died, that pretty much kept me off this place year round, which was probably a good thing.
