Steelers select Chase Winovich, EDGE, Michigan I had a really hard time with this pick. The run on WRs took them off my board, and the ILB talent in the second round is really lacking. I'm a little worried about if we don't get an ILB in the first round now... Anyway. Chase is a hometown kid who is still raw, but should be a great pair with TJ Watt. @xkj1985x time for all of the picks.
Come to think of it yeah I’d be pretty PISSED if the Colts got Fant AND A.J. Brown Fuck that, man. Andrew Luck would be dropping 500 yards on everybody lol If Brown falls this far in the real draft he’s a huge steal tbh
I'll have my picks in here in the next hour or so. At work and can't really get to it at the moment but if anybody is interested in one of these picks, come get it.
The Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants have agreed upon another trade. @Blimp City Hero Giants give: Pick 142 (Round 5) Pick 143 (Round 5) VIkings give: WR Laquon Treadwell Pick 247 (round 7)
Taking a flier on a guy who went in the first. Does he stink? Probably. Is it worth a shot when the name of the game is develop young talent? Yep.
With the 52nd Pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select: Dre’Mont Jones | DT | Ohio State The Eagles LOVE to rotate their defensive lineman. It was pinnacle to their success the last few seasons and will continue to be that way for the foreseeable future. The Eagles have Fletcher Cox/Malik Jackson as a nice 1-2 but now add a young guy they can groom and who can play rotationally and not be expected to do too much too fast. Eagles add another piece to their defensive front. With the 53rd Pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select: Yodny Cajuste | OT | West Virginia Eagles attack the offensive line side of the things with this pick as they need to start figuring a few things out here. Jason Peters is coming back for a twenty-ninth year in the league but he’s certainly done after 2019. They have a promising young cat they drafted last year in Jordan Mailata who is still learning the NFL game (Australian Rugby Player) but adding capable bodies never hurt. If drafted here, Yodny may not even play in 2019 as he has a torn quad and won’t even be ready until the preseason. Good thing is, he won’t be needed outside of a rash of injuries so he can come in and learn and soak it all in before probably becoming a starter in 2019. With the 54th Pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select: Parris Campbell | WR/RB/OW | Ohio State They shift focus here to a skill position player on offense. The Eagles are already quite loaded here but only in the short term. Alshon Jeffrey is around for a bit. Nelson Agholor will be off to a new team after this season and with DeSean Jackson returning to the fold this year, 2020 will have an open spot in the slot for Parris Campbell to roll right into for the future. 2019 however? He can come in and become a chess piece and line up all over the field. The Eagles already kind of have a guy like that in Darren Sproles but he’s 328 years old and will surely be hurt this season and retire next year. Eagles are fairly top heavy at the skill positions but lack depth at WR and so this helps that for now but more so for the future.
