well to kill my own point, i googled best athletes named Rashan and Rashan Gary popped up

Gary did test very well at the combine. Easily had the best scores of any pure defensive lineman.

 

Gary is from my hometown so I want him to do well but I dont' want him on my team

 

I think Gary is going to do okay. I think he'd be better off bulking up and playing 3-technique than being an edge rusher. I think people always forget that he was the #1 prospect in the class of 2016 though.

 

that's exactly what I think we'll use him for. I'm not worried. It's just, that's not even the best player at that position available. Not even the second or third best haha.

I did something very similar in the last mock. I just wanted to play it out doing something different because I know in real life there is no way Kyler falls that far

This is probably written on the walls, but I'm not personally sold, so I was looking at some other options.
To be honest, the Broncos had a pretty solid free agency, which gives them a lot of flexibility with their picks.
Having Flacco as QB1 under contract for the next two years feels ideal for a QB to sit and learn the ropes.
