The Browns probably re-sign Randall, but Tell is a great value at this point. He could be a guy that could be developed to take over FS later on and immediately gives them depth and height on deep passes and red zone attempts with larger WRs.

He isn’t big, but he’s super fast for a LB, would excel on special teams, and could slot in well as the Colts’ 3rd LB in packages that require 3 LBs. Also would help with pass coverage, where both Leonard and Walker are less strong

I'm really fucking glad I traded for Kiko Alonso now, even though he has injury problems and run defense problems. Chargers don't have any other LBs who can cover.

Chargers select Essang Bassey, CB, Wake Forest

With how the board has played out, the Chargers elect to add competition to a position of strength here. Casey Heyward is an indisputable top 10 CB in the league and Desmond King graded out as a top slot corner last season, but they could use somebody to push MIchael Davis for CB2 / as depth in case one of their starters goes down.

Excellent coverage is the only way they will keep up with KC, and they are no stranger to having issues with their coverage when previous CB1 Jason Verrett kept getting hurt. This guy reminds me of a small-school version of Verrett.

Bassey is very underrated because of his size and level of competition. Dude has that innate ability to reach a hand in the way at the catch point, regardless how awkwardly he has to leap / dive. Excellent timing and burst to the ball in off-man coverage which will go great in Gus Bradley's Cover 3 oriented scheme. He boasts fluid hips and the ability to mirror as well as solid ball skills. You want somebody who has the competitive energy & aggression to clamp down, and challenge EVERY throw. Bassey does that.
