Both excellent for sure! I've listened to other Rilo Kiley albums but never made it back to that one, and Daniel Caesar I think I listened to last year but just in the background, so this time I was actually paying attention and I loved it.
Goal for this year is to listen to 100 “classics” I’ve missed over the years 1. Bright Eyes - I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning (2005) 2. Bright Eyes - Fevers and Mirrors (2000) 3. The Killers - Hot Fuss (2004) 4. Bright Eyes - Digital Ash in a Digital Urn (2005) 5. Dashboard Confessional - A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar (2003) 6. The Starting Line - Say It Like You Mean It (2002) 7. The Format - Dog Problems (2006)
Oh this is cool! I have a few rec's if you are interested. Ludo -"You're Awful, I love you" The Calling - "Camino Palmero" Bedlight for Blue eyes - "Life on Life's Terms" Damone - "From the Attic" The Damnwells - "Air Stereo"
Thanks for this!! I’ve gotten soooo many recs from friends and people across the site so I don’t think hitting 100 is gonna be very hard haha
Wowwwww this is an incredible list of albums. Were these before your time or were you just into different music in the early 2000s?
A little bit of both hahaha I was in elementary school till like 2005, listened to country all through middle school. I didn’t really come around to this type of music till 08/09, and my music listening was pretty shallow up until 2014 and since then it’s almost all been new stuff, never really took the time to go back and check out the stuff I missed hahah
I just don't like that band at all. I think "Somebody Told Me" is trash, "Mr Brightside" is annoying as shit and "Smile Like You Mean It" is also not good. That's enough for me to never listen to more of the album
If the answer is no, what was the question? was When You Were Young a single? it sounds familar. I dont know the other one
Both were pretty big back when Sam’s Town (Killer’s second album) came out, especially When You Were Young.
