Does anyone else think its BS that Vegas will be exempt from the Seattle expansion draft? They will have been playing for 4 full seasons by then

 

I think any rule that benefits Vegas is a crap rule

small change, but i think the original assumption was Seattle would start next year (20-21, not 21-22) so it would be 3 seasons vs 4. also, if i just paid $500 million i would damn well want some protection for my brand new franchise, so i get it.

i was / am most fascinated by if they would try and work with teams to protect players with "behind closed door" deals, although i assume the current contract negates most of that (i.e. Tampa trades Stamkos to Vegas right before the expansion draft and then Vegas sends him back for whoever they sent to Tampa once the draft is done, etc.)

 

i always forget to ask, why do you hate Vegas so much?

 

maybe it’s just me but the fan base for Vegas has gotten super toxic fast

granted we also won in the worst way but yeah toxic
