Always good to remind yourself periodically that a large contingent of sports fans is not very bright
I mean, I don't want him back at all. He's been injury prone and he's definitely more a 4-6 guy than the 1-3 guy he was on a shitty team with no depth. He refused to waive his ntc and stayed on a pointless shit-tanking team the last 5 years because his family doesn't want to ever leave the northwest. I just doubt he goes all the way to the east coast, especially to a team that isn't a contender in his last years of relevance. I guess stranger things have happened? Imo, right now, he's still definitely a really good role player on a team that has a good blueline and depth. Anything more than 4x4 is more than he's worth IMO.
Columbus did it. they resigned him! this is who everyone thought was leaving, right? (this is a joke)
That's what I thought too. Found a story about him crapping in a stairwell at BC after a party. But I can't find any stats on where he played to confirm if he was suspended prior to playing for BC. Also saw the comments saying it was Riley Sheahan (doesn't match up because he was playing for Notre Dame already when drafted and his Wikipedia page shows he played 40ish games for his two seasons in Junior B) and Austin Watson but he didn't attend college.
Kevin Hayes. Confirmed. From his BC bio: 2009-10 ... registered a team-high 69 points - 25 goals and 44 assists - in 29 games 2008-09 season tied with Bill Arnold for the Noble and Greenough lead with 55 points - 28 goals and 27 assists - in 39 games 10 missed games of less than 40 is a very good chunk
I would gladly take Labanc or Braun on the Sabres the entirety of the depth on this team stinks out loud
