My feelings are hurt.

 

my hot take is that Washington will barely make the playoffs or be a bubble team this year

 

I want to be mad about projections that have Boston as a fringe playoff team, but I remember the last time they made the SCF and won the Pres trophy the next year

 

and 2 of their 3 best players are still out awhile

 

I don’t see Montreal being any better than 5th.

 

With such a short season you can stumble out of the gate and really dig yourself a hole. Or you can hit a hot streak at the right time and sneak into the postseason. All of this is to say the Ducks are making the playoffs this year.

 

Wpg is in a not good place. I don't think they'll get vezina goaltending two years in a row...also the laine stuff. It's also entirely possible vancouver suffers big for their off-season moves and wpg sneaks in

 

Objectively they had a good off-season and should be better than last

As long as price is healthy

 

Steep drop off in the west after st louis, and minnesota had a bad off-season...so ya maybe ducks?

 

Ducks’ success will entirely depends on kids and they did not make big enough jumps last year to make you believe that’ll happen. However, Zegras is pro now so it remains to be seen how big his impact will be. I hope he dominates the WJs again.

 

watching the mighty ducks and really though half the players on this team were bad

 

I mean, isn't that every kids sports movie? Little Giants had the exact same blueprint.

 

Hell, if say just every sports comedy. The Replacements, Waterboy, Longest Yard, etc.

 

Wow they finally changed the offsides rule with the skate being on the ice
