The rational part of my brain knows that there are some good reasons to try to trade PK but I'm not ready to handle it emotionally as a fan

There’s 9 million reasons to trade him, to be exact. I’ll hate to see PK (the person) go though.

I can't handle Gasol, Conley and PK all getting traded in the same year, that's too much. Weird time for mid-south sports

 

Who would replace PK? Fabbro? I was under the impression that Nashville's problems are offensively. Seems like that would just create a hole to fill but idk

 

ready for the Trouba stuff to heat up this week

 

the rumors are really only existent because of PK's contract and the fact that Fabbro is likely ready

 

They have to trade someone if they want to improve the offense. It’s either selling Turris at a discount or trading Subban’s $9m AAV. Fabbro appears ready to take on a bigger role defensively.

Poile said he foresees “a change or two” so besides depth moves, trading Subban to clear room to sign Duchene as a 2C, while sliding Turris down to a 3C makes too much sense to not happen imo.

 

the only thing that gives me pause about trading for PK is that he is another RHD and we already have Vatanen and Severson

unless you want Vatanen back in the deal

 

also if we trade Severson and more pieces for Trouba I will be not pleased

Trouba is the better player but he isn't THAT much better

 

I might even be more interested in Gostisbehere over Trouba if he's truly up for grabs

 

richter would know better than me, I would guess he was brought in to help moreso develop the young players though
