Man, they are going to have to sort this out differently. Having games in one building is not doing them any favors.
Love Malkin but I think it's just more of sending a message to the entire team. Gonchar was only there as he was Malkin's buddy and they train together. I don't think it has to do with stats, it's more of a "take this shit seriously" thing. Just my opinion but that's how I read it.
Literally One of two things that have been positive about transitioning to a work-from-home role. Unlimited access to sports and other media, and a new desk chair that smells like a new car and has a massager in the lumbar support.
The call on the ice was correct. Mrazek playing the puck nullified any hand pass/high stick. Just because he had possession of the puck doesn't mean he had it absolutely secured, or that the whistle should have blown. Hockey players are taught from day one to play until the whistle, especially when a puck is loose in the crease. The Bruins did just that and ended up with a goal. I get Brind'Amour is frustrated, because it's such a strange sequence of events, but that's the game.
I get that the hand pass was nullified, but in what league are you allowed to jab the puck out of the goalie’s glove when he clearly has it covered to ice the puck? Lol
You can dig at the goalie until the whistle blows, as long as you don't slash or anything like that. Hence why you always see players trying to pry the puck loose under equipment. In this instance, Mrazek tried to cover the puck but obviously didn't have a good grasp on it if it came out literally less than a second after he made the attempt to secure it.
