I think we have already seen with the play in round that literally anything can happen right now. Teams aren’t at their absolute sharpest, and in multiple cases during the play in all it took was a hot goalie to win. The Hawks are severely flawed defensively, but they DO have explosive offensive weapons. Montreal got swept by Detroit this year but somehow pulled off an upset against the Penguins. I think round 1 will continue to be kinda sloppy at times and teams won’t be as tight defensively as they would have had this been in April. We’ll see how it goes- I personally hope Chicago is bounced immediately, but we’ll see.
When are the maple leafs ever gonna figure it out. All that talent and they can’t do shit with it in the playoffs. I feel like some teams are wasting the prime of some star players by having good regular seasons but shitty postseasons
I still fully anticipate losing this game, which would honestly be extremely fitting. We always have to lose in the most dramatic fashion, and phoning it in while on the brink of elimination wasn't quite dramatic enough.
Turned the canucks game on and saw OT was about to start so I decided to go to the bathroom, came back into the room and everyone was shaking hands...lol. Gotta be one of the quickest OT goals in the playoffs
