I’m fine with it tbh. The return could have been more obviously, but no salary retention is key. Now they can sign Duchene, extend Josi, restock the farm and the defense will be fine. If you toss Duchene in as part of this deal, then it looks absolutely fine.

I forgot they had Fabbro there. I guess they're banking on him and Duchene to make up the loss. That and they must think Subban's on the decline with some of his recent injuries. I get it but man, that return is tough.
