Listening to the anthem before a sporting event is so dumb, and it's made worse by the fact that both the Canadian and American anthems are absolute trash, but especially the American anthem.

 

The country is literally falling apart but damn....theres really hockey on all day tomorrow.

 

The American anthem is to the Canadian anthem what America is to Canada.

 

Canada, by contrast, is not falling apart.
