Would it be wild if this just a temporary 1yr thing for njd?

 

Lindy ruff and Scott stevens? So two guys who's playing/coaching styles peaked in the late 90s early/mid 2000s is going to work in 2021? I have my doubts...

 

How is ruff better than laviolette? I don’t know how that lasts more than one season

 

Ruff has been really good for young players everywhere he has been

Laviolette plays a specific system and if you don't play it, you get benched

the Devils are a very young team and stifling the young players is not the way to go

Again, I am still not happy with Ruff but he is better than Lavi for the Devils

 

Adam Larsson credits Scott Stevens to this day for coaching him up as a young player

Stevens would be a great hire for a team that needs to learn how to play in their own end

It's nice they released a schedule but there's been two other north american sports leagues (NWSL and MSL) that have returned to play so far and both had teams (Orlando Pride and FC Dallas & Nashville SC) that were forced to withdraw from competition before the games started due to too many players testing positive so it's a possibility the NHL will have the same issue.

My question is which team(s) do you think will probably mess up and have to drop out before the NHL starts back up? I totally forgot the Lightning and the Blues already had players test positive because I definitely would have picked the Lightning after seeing what some of the players post on social media in regards to not wearing masks and traveling around the state.

 

if they truly quarantine and don't leave the bubble for any reason then they theoretically should be okay

Unless players in the bubble are infected. And given that we already know of multiple covid cases, I don't see how it's not gonna spread to even more players over the course of this stupid shit.

Somehow there's a leafs bruins series, game 7 bruins have to forfeit due to too many cases, leafs win the series but can't move forward because they were exposed to a team with too many cases, they have to drop out.
