I’m more comfortable with the Wings’ pick. Stevie said Seider was their guy and figured they could probably snag him a few picks later, but no deal came up that made sense for them to trade down. He said they knew he wouldn’t be around at 35 (their next pick), so they had to get him at 6.

If they’re that high on the kid, I’m cool with the pick for now. Apparently there was another team that was looking at him in the top 10 as well, and my gut instinct says it was Holland and the Oilers.
