Disappointing return for AA. I think he will thrive in Edmonton as long as he stays healthy. I think if that’s the return right now, I wait until the draft to try and raise his value.
With that being said, 2 2nds for a guy who has 10 goals and a -45 rating? Not a bad return. I think he’s worth more, absolutely, but he wasn’t part of the future in Yzerman’s version of the Red Wings.
Still, disappointing.

AA is going to get a stupid contract for a guy who's shown up for one season. I'm not paying him what he wants. He is god awful in his own zone. Yes, he's fast and can score. But he's going to want big money, and to get two 2nd round picks, which, given Yzerman's drafting track record, I'll take it.

Getting Kahun out of a guy who was walking this summer (Sheary) and a guy they were going to likely let walk after how this season has gone (ERod) is really nice IMO
