Would not be surprised to see Washington back on the Final this year. Losing last year in round one and getting that extra time off may have been a blessing for some much needed rest.
Red Wings traded Mike Green to Edmonton for Brodziak (LTIR, expiring deal) and a conditional pick. 2020 4th -> 2021 3rd if EDM makes conference finals + Green plays in half their games. I’m fine with it. I think Green will improve in Edmonton and Detroit got something for an expiring deal of a player who really fell off this year. Hoping he is successful, not just for the 3rd potentially, but because he was a bright spot on an otherwise horrible defense for a couple years. Really appreciate him for re-signing after the team got real bad.
