The gist of it is that they have kind of a logjam at forward and weren't sold on him being a great player. Keane's having a pretty good rookie season and they probably see him as TVR or Edmundson's replacement in another year or so. Charlotte's also got a few players similar to him whose contracts are up a the end of the year.
