The one thing I’ll say about Hynes is team mentality appears to have changed under him a bit. Lavy was a quantity-over-quality guy in regards to shots and it was very frustrating at times. They seem to be opposite under Hynes.

that type of game assures me even more that our forwards are actually OK and its the defense that needs a major overhaul
I'm looking at cap numbers for the Flyers and getting a little worried. They are definitely going to need to shed some cap space in the summer and I'm not sure where that comes from. Right now, we don't really have a reliable piece in goal. Elliot and Lyons are both free agents and Carter Hart can't stay healthy. Nolan Patrick is such a risk in signing. Guess I can't be looking too far ahead since we aren't even at the deadline yet. This season has been a tale of two teams.
