Zacha sticking it to Hynes is kind of amusing I gotta admit

 

Zacha, Gusev, and Bratt all dominating tonight

John Hynes healthy scratched all of them at some point this year

 

Two elite teams obviously

 

this game is actually fun as hell

blown leads galore which is peak Hynes

 

Austin Watson getting his whole ass hit over the boards and into the bench is everything I needed on this Thursday night.

 

Fun game, and actually a good one have put on NBCSN in hindsight.

 

John Hynes still stinks

 

The one thing I’ll say about Hynes is team mentality appears to have changed under him a bit. Lavy was a quantity-over-quality guy in regards to shots and it was very frustrating at times. They seem to be opposite under Hynes.

 

yeah Hynes definitely is all about the high-danger chances vs. total number of shots

 

That feel when it takes a shootout to beat the very bad team that fired your current coach earlier in the same season

that type of game assures me even more that our forwards are actually OK and its the defense that needs a major overhaul

I'm looking at cap numbers for the Flyers and getting a little worried. They are definitely going to need to shed some cap space in the summer and I'm not sure where that comes from. Right now, we don't really have a reliable piece in goal. Elliot and Lyons are both free agents and Carter Hart can't stay healthy. Nolan Patrick is such a risk in signing.

Guess I can't be looking too far ahead since we aren't even at the deadline yet. This season has been a tale of two teams.
