I've spent over $200 so far. That doesn't include the shirt and cup my mom bought for me for father's day lol. Wife also said she bought me some stuff but I didn't ask what or how much so probably up to 300 easy with that.
I hope that they don't over pay him. Don't need 2 goalies taking up that much money.. but then again... we won the cup so I really feel like it doesn't fucking matter anymore. Do wahtever you want Blues. You got me my cup.

that's awesome. gotta go all out! who knows when this happens again! i was on NHL shop or some site and i think i said, "oh that's cool as hell" to like 45 different Blues championship things and i started adding up the prices for all of it and it would easily run $1,500 or so lol. that's why i'm saving now in case Seattle ever gets there so i don't max out a credit card or go instantly broke lol. i'm still pissed at myself for not getting more Seahawks stuff when they won the Super Bowl.
some podcast made a bunch of great points about this. they were going off on Gary and the league looking like a fucking clown show. "you're a billion dollar industry with 31 employees and the biggest day regarding the future is less than 24 hours away AND NO ONE FUCKING KNOWS WHAT THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT THEY CAN SPEND IS. could you imagine this happening in football? no way. oh by the way, we also don't know the fucking rules. but yes, please buy a $40 shirt and $300 tickets for our glorious product."
