I've been wondering when this topic would be broached TBH

 

I go to hockey games to not hear play-by-play. Don’t be that guy behind me doing play-by-play.

 

I’m gonna sit behind you and narrate the game in an old timey radio voice.

I know my girlfriend's first game is going to be painful for the people around me. I thought she had some understanding of football, but I had to explain EVERYTHING. I know hockey will be the same, if not worse.

One of my favorite Ducks games ever was when a British family of 6 sat behind me at what was their first sporting event ever and they kept saying WHATS ALL THIS NOW? every six seconds. Highly entertaining.

 

Crosby can't fight for shit but my goodness can that dude can make plays. that was gorgeous

 

I've taken my wife to at least 5 Ducks games and I am still 100% expecting her to ask the same questions she's asked about game play when we see them at TD on Columbus Day.
