Now I get why @CarpetElf likes the Falcons all of a sudden
Get in THEE car we are on our way to THEE festival
Sounds like a fucking Bible
Flap flap motherfucker
Strong disagree, THE Ohio State University is great
It’s also THE University of Florida. There is literally nothing special about a proper noun being addressed with an article of speech.
Ohio State is never great
But "THE" is fine. It's like if you tell someone you met Michael Jordan and they're like "THE Michael Jordan?!"
Fuck Ohio State.
The name of a university often starts with “the” though. Any proper noun that refers to an inanimate object really
I just don’t like that but I guess it’s not as bad as the Patriots and Cowboys simultaneously claiming to be AMERICAS TEAM
THE Ohio State University is not a university, no one learns there
I do love Michael Thomas and Denzel Ward.
Me too but you can't also have Gareon Conley and Ezekiel Elliott (and Nick Bosa!) come out of there and get me to like them
What did Conley do?
You don't remember the sexual assault report from like right before the draft?
I don’t care about Ohio St one way or the other, but I like the emphasized THE.
It’s distinct and doesn’t feel forced like most college football things where some person did a mundane thing 50+ years ago and it turned into a random and unrelated nickname or rallying cry or something
are you fucking kidding me
Except it's like if there was only one player named Michael Jordan wearing 23 for the bulls on the court. Theres no other Ohio State University that can exist with that branding
So do i ;)
Wanna start a college
Its perhaps the most forced.
And grammatically unnecessary.
Though i refuse to let Randall on this side of the argument.
Also, you coming out tomorrow??
Absolutely. Itll be just like Accepted! I'll be Justin Long and you can get nominated for an oscar ten years later
