Texans should lowball a trade for Lev Bell

Well "a ton" is a strong way to put it but way more than people expect us to have

 

2nd, 3rd (comp for Badger, might get a comp for KJax too depending on what happens after season), 2 4ths, 5th, 7th

Could definitely make a trade for Bell IF the Jets tank his value (which it feels like they have)

 

I could see the Chiefs trading for Bell after this season since none of their RBs have managed to take hold of the job. I don’t think the Colts would do it, but I’d be a fan of that landing spot. Otherwise, the Bucs are the only other team I can see trading for him. I think most teams are set at the position or are fine enough to survive with what they’ve got as opposed to trading a likely high pick for him.

I think we now have the tools to support him and he'd be a lot of fun in our offense, he can still ball for sure

I haven’t watched the Jets but how has Bell actually looked? I know the stats don’t look great, but I’m wondering if how he looks on the eye test

Depends how badly the Jets want out of the Bell situation, but, we'll know by March 31.

3yr/$38mil with only the 2020 roster bonus guaranteed, and he's got $3mil bonuses in 2021 and 2022 that only pay if he shows up to training camp...not a terrible deal to trade into versus the on he signed.

 

Yeah it's tough to weigh exactly what he should be traded for. His deal is better than it was but his on field production was not very good this season...but also everyone still knows what Bell's capable of so idk

 

I'm still so biased with Bell, I'd love him on the Lions

He was my favorite college player I ever got to watch in person, and my favorite player that went to my school

 

I had such high hopes for when we signed Bell that he was going to help Darnold's growth immensely and i'm so angry that Gase fucked everything up

 

It really is 100% Gase's fault.

 

They have to fire him, right?

I couldn't remember who the coach was before Gase so I was looking it up on Wikipedia and this made me lol pretty good

 

It's a shame that Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold were considered the top QB candidates in the 2018 draft and their head coaches are absolute clowns who are wasting valuable years on their rookie contracts.

 

It’s a shame Lamar Jackson was underrated.
