Not saying he isn’t very good, but he definitely also benefits from that offense. They force DE’s to read and react to avoid getting destroyed against the run. The left side especially has to stay disciplined and have good eyes, because that side is more likely to be a weakside counter / misdirection than a straight up power running play. So that blind side DE is watching for fakes like the read option / PA bootleg first, and can’t really focus on pass rushing.

Also Lamar is very fast and easily just sprints away if anyone does come close so there’s that lol. I’m sure DE’s are eventually making plays on Stanley that would be recorded as pressures if they were chasing a normal QB

It’s hard not to love Zack Martin on tape. Dude is a combo block MACHINE. He regularly takes out two defenders in one play.

I love Jawaan Taylor (if he can clean up the DAMN penalties he is promising between the whistles) and I’ve always loved Brandon Linder.

Cam Robinson has potential but he might be better on the inside. Draft me a great tackle (Thomas / Wirfs???) and then slide Robinson to RG while we look for a quality replacement for Norwell at LG
