He has. He’s been the only solid piece of the secondary since he got here.

But scheming on both sides of the ball this year has not been good.

 

Idk I look at who the Steelers take at DB and it's clear scouting is a bigger problem than developing

Which makes me wonder if they'd even take Grant Delpit or how he'd work out on that team

 

I read something on Twitter that the Steelers now have TEN former first round picks on their defense

that is insane.

they still play some bad teams so maybe. I kind of want them to win at least 1 to avoid the 0-16

Yeah def interesting. Feels like it’s hard to go 0-16. Def not rooting for it either like I sort of was for the Browns 2 years ago since they were so unlikable. Main positive of them possibly doing it is for a weekly pick em haha

The Steelers thing is just really really poor timing. I see lot of people dunking on the Steelers for giving up a 1st when they need it for their future QB, but Ben’s contract indicates that he’ll definitely be the starter in 2020 if he still wants to play and maybe still in the 2021.

 

Also, I feel bad for Jags fans. I’m sorry that you have so many talented players that just got squandered by poor coaching and by a poor front office. It really is a shame.

if he plays all of 2020, chances are they will be at least 8-8 or better so not "in range" For the top QBs

 

Yeah, idk. I've seen a lot of teams move on from QBs while they're still paying high dollar and having em ride the bench for younger guys even without originally planning to move on...but also most of those high dollar QBs didn't win 2 Super Bowls. (Not counting Eli in this since it was MUCH more apparent the Giants planned to move on.)

 

But if Rudolph is their guy, they aren't taking a QB anyway. They obviously believe in him, and would want to give him more than just this year to develop.

 

Which is a fair point to make. I definitely see both the arguments for and against the trade because, given the situation, it seems like there will be no better time than now to definitely draft your future QB. Guess they feel very confident in Rudolph.

I can't think of a trade the Chiefs could make for Ramsey that would be fair outside of like giving up the OL and Hill maybe

if KC gets Ramsey without giving up anything of significance from their roster, they are the clear #1 team in the league
