Players following other teams on IG/Twitter means absolutely nothing nearly 100 percent of the time. But dammit Gordon on the Eagles would be fun.

I tend to agree but it is very peculiar that he doesn’t follow any other NFL team outside of the Chargers obviously. It’s not like he follows 14 NFL teams randomly.

I was always skeptical of his value anyway. With Howard/Clement/Sproles, that ball was always going to be spread around a ton.

If they do somehow obtain Gordon then yeah it takes a bit more of a hit but that backfield would scare the piss out of me from a fantasy perspective.

 

Ertz is the only Eagles player I would draft in fantasy. Maybe Jeffrey and Cox. They're just too good at spreading the ball around.

 

I wouldn't put much stock into it, if the Eagles traded for Melvin Gordon than they wasted a 2nd Rd pick on Sanders imo.

 

Absolutely, Goedert is definitely going to cut into Ertz fantasy value.

 

Absolutely not. The team is incredibly high on Sanders but beyond this season, Miles Sanders is the only guy with a contract. Howard/Clement/Sproles are all Free Agents/Retiring/Gone.

If they have the ability to get a guy with the talent of Gordon for not very much in trade compensation, do it and form a two headed combo of Gordon/Sanders with Sproles rotationally this year and Boston Scott next year when Sproles sells the farm.

I didn't think about that, but still I don't think Gordon would be cheap.

 

I wanted Gordon to start or get traded somewhere for fantasy reasons, but...

 

Either way, Gordon would be nasty in this Eagles offense.

 

If it happens, NFC East has three top ten, arguably top five, running backs.

 

Damn, Gordon is really consistent. Averages about 95 scrimmage yards and about 0.75 TD’s a game.
