Santos is out there, surprised one of the kicker needy teams didn't try him out

Is he healthy? Bears already tried him once but his health was always the issue

If I’m Miami I don’t ever give up Tunsil because, as others have said, that’s one of the hardest parts of a rebuild to get right. Just cause they have all these picks doesn’t mean they won’t totally whiff on whatever OTs they choose to replace Tunsil. Tackle is a hard as shit position, I’d say more players either bust or have to kick inside to guard than those that succeed.

IF i were to trade Tunsil, I would only trade him for like, a serious overpay in terms of draft capital. Which is what Houston did - and honestly I don’t care if I’ve fucked up a few drafts, I still would rather try again to get OL next draft than give up 3 PREMIUM picks.

Just feels like a lose-lose to me. I would like it for Houston if it didn’t come immediately after they dealt Clowney for chump change, but now they need a leading pass rusher for the future and don’t have a top pick to get one until 3 years from now.

Happy for Watson at least to get some protection.

But yeah I think if the Clowney trade wasn't COMPLETELY botched it'd be a perfect situation for the Texans. That trade being botched creates a lot of question marks

Yea, I'm pretty sure he is. Maybe he's just not a fit for somewhere that windy, idk.

But yeah people who are saying a top tackle is worth 2 firsts and a second are not really giving an accurate reflection of how valuable draft picks really are. I mean, it’s all potential sure, but even dumb football teams get lucky and pick the right guys sometimes. Those 3 picks could easily be a good LT, QB, AND DE and you gave up that potential / possibility for just one good LT.

I would trade that for Deshaun Watson or for, like, Khalil Mack. Even a T as good as Tunsil doesn’t match that value for me.

Again I wouldn't have made that trade if it were up to me

But Houston overpaid out the ass. They paid more than what mack returned and more than a lot of the young QBs get during the draft

I just realized the bears somehow got a 2nd round pick back in the Mack trade lol

Counterpoint: Whoever we draft would be developed by BOB, Tunsil is already ready

But yes we did overpay, still worth it

Texans should've gotten Reggie McKenzie to sub in as gm for the Clowney trade

No that’s what I’m saying. If I’m Miami I’m pissed I don’t have Tunsil, but in the same vein if I’m Houston I’m pissed I gave up THAT much draft capital. I just don’t like the trade haha. But that’s not to say both teams couldn’t turn it into a positive. Watson with protection, Miami with actual ammo to rebuild... those are good things by themselves but as a straight up trade without all the context I don’t like the swap.

still love the Tunsil deal, feels great to have a legit LT to help the entire offense again

plus our WR corp is so good, should be fun

clowney got me low, this got me stoked again

I got the two I mentioned and Henry and Mixon. Then Brady and Ryan at QB, and Ebron and Kettle. My WR’s are just average tho

Yea, other than obj I've had shit luck at wr. I traded Evans for Watkins and a pick swap 2 seasons ago. My qbs aren't as good but its fine.

Would Gordon take something like Clowney got where the team agrees not to tender him so he becomes an FA?
