I honestly don't know if Nick Foles is twice as good as Jacoby. We'll see I guess. If the Colts are smart, they trade for Melvin Gordon, give him his money and really help out their young QB by giving him a RB to hide behind.

I went to Colts@Texans when it was Brissett vs Savage and the Texans legitimately had a chance many times during the game and that's how I'll weigh Brissett against Foles

 

Twice as good is bold. Foles is gonna have to really elevate that team or Brissett’s gonna have to really suck for that to be the case

 

You guys have more money than could be dreamed of. Get him, frontload the fuck outta the deal and now you have Brissett behind a GREAT line, with weapons like Gordon, TY Hilton, Doyle and Ebron. That's solid. I'm personally invested in Brissett's success so please don't screw him over lol

 

That's not a bad point...it's not like the money is being used on other assets right now, might as well do it and be able to cut bait later.

 

The draft pick part will suck, but all things are made better by Super Bowl rings. Imagine being the GM who instantaneously righted the ship after this disaster.

the Dolphins

- have a shitload of cap space
- have a shitload of draft capital
- have a glaring need at DE/pass rusher and Clowney fits the scheme
- he can apparently be had for a relatively cheap price

I don't think Clowney is a star but he is certainly a good player and if they can get him for the Saints 2nd (just an example) I would do it in a heartbeat

 

Clowney to Miami just makes too much sense.

I still never got why they play him at 3-4 OLB. I mean I know they play a 3-4, but I think ideally Clowney would wreck shit as a 4-3 DE
